Amos Ngumbi Foundation is an initiative that aspires to attain sustainable last-mile service delivery in arid prone areas starting from the founder’s backyard. While there is so much bias and assumptions as to why the African continent lags behind other continents in sustainability, our belief are that it has nothing to do with colonialism or lack of resources. We believe there’s unremitting, rampant looting of Africa, by Africans, facilitated by lack of political goodwill by high level leader. The foundation currently operating in Kenya, decries a culture of impunity whereby those who steal from public coffers hide under tribal cocoons creating serious insidious, pervasive agenda to hinder accountability thus disrupting last-mile development.  Upon realizing this director Amos Kyondu Ngumbi took upon himself to start an initiative that takes real development to those in dire need.

The Amos Kyondu Foundation is an extensive platform, where anyone from any part of the world can donate the little part of the fortune to enhance living standard and education system as well as fulfill all other basic needs of deprived African child. We do not raise fund for ourselves rather we do use all the funds in the best of the best way in terms of holistic development. Our team is relentlessly working day and night to ensure that there will be no hassle for our fund donor. Our main focus is helping young people shun corruption and its enablers as well as helping children who are living in conditions deprived of clean water, proper education, food, cloth and medical care.

OUR MISSION

We seek to provide sustainable last-mile service delivery in a number of areas such as:

Water Tanks

Kibwezi is a semi-arid area with decreased rainfall, thus contributing to chronic  water shortages in many home steads. In an area where rainfall is less tha 25mm per year, children stayout of school to help their parents in obtaining water. This is evident as many skip school to draw water in distant places. This initiative seeks to keep children in school as homes will harvest rain water .

Earth dams

The foundation seeks to construct shallow Earth Dam Reservoirs to enable families practice horticulture

Roof- Iron sheet

Walking around Kibwezi, there are numerous grass thatched houses as many people still live below a dollar a day. This initiative seeks to construct decent housing to beneficiaries.
